Synthesis and interfacial properties of new 6-sulfate sugar-based anionic surfactants

چکیده
Three families of anionic sugar-based surfactants bearing a sulfate functional group on the primary position monosaccharide were synthesized and their physicochemical properties compared. The first family corresponds to 6-sulfate derivatives commercially available octa- dodecyl β-d-gluco- galactopyranosides. second third contain an amide linker between sulfated (galactose, glucose or xylose) hydrophobic alkyl chain. Twelve as-synthesized glycolipids, including nine novel compounds, investigated for surface activity at air/liquid interface self-assembling properties. These show similar those commercial (SDS SLES) with good ability reduce tension. obtained results confirm interest in these new bio-based molecules potential substitution various formulations.
